There is no doubt that the laboratory decoration must be well designed for the ventilation system, so how can it be done? Today’s article will introduce you to the design of the ventilation system in the laboratory decoration.

To do a good job in the design of the air supply and exhaust system for laboratory decoration, we must start from four aspects, namely: the configuration of the fume hood, the calculation of the exhaust air volume of the fume hood, the air supply volume of the air conditioning system, and the laboratory's requirements for the air supply and exhaust system.

I. Configuration of fume hood

In the design of the air supply and exhaust system of the laboratory decoration, in order to control the exhaust air volume of the fume hood, a Venturi valve or an electric butterfly valve must be configured. These valves can be used for constant air volume or variable air volume control, which not only reduces rated noise, but also exerts airflow performance.

In addition to the venturi valve or electric butterfly valve, the fume hood also has 4 types of equipment that must be configured, namely: door height sensor, surface wind speed sensor, infrared and other area sensors, controller. Among them, in order to avoid the escape of pollutants, the controller should use a product that responds quickly.

II. Calculation of exhaust air volume of fume hood

To accurately calculate the exhaust air volume of the fume hood, three factors must be determined first, namely: the total exhaust air volume of all exhaust equipment, the exhaust air volume required to ensure indoor temperature and humidity requirements, and the minimum required to ensure indoor sanitary conditions Ventilation.

III. Air supply volume of air conditioning system

To determine the air supply volume of the air-conditioning system, two factors should be considered, namely: the thermal comfort of the laboratory and the supplementary air volume of the exhaust air. Let's look at the former first. If the exhaust air volume is greater than the air supply volume, the thermal comfort of the laboratory will be damaged, the staff will feel chill, and the negative pressure in the room will be too large. Looking at the latter, if the humidity in the laboratory is high, the fresh air must be pre-treated by the air conditioning system.

IV, the laboratory's requirements for the air supply and exhaust system

For the design of the air supply and exhaust system for laboratory decoration, the air supply and exhaust should be determined according to two factors, namely: process and indoor safety, hygiene and environmental protection requirements. Taking a chemical laboratory as an example, the air supply uses an air filter with a filtration efficiency of 85%, and the exhaust air treatment uses treatment measures such as dilution, filtration, washing, and adsorption.

This is the end of the article about the design of the air supply and exhaust system for laboratory decoration, and I hope it can bring you some help.
