Basic configuration 7: test bench

There is no doubt that the laboratory bench is the most basic configuration in the laboratory. It is available in all laboratories, and the PCR laboratory is no exception. The surface of the test bench must have the characteristics of acid and alkali resistance and corrosion resistance. In order to facilitate the placement of experimental supplies, drawers and cabinets are also provided under the cabinet.

Basic configuration 8: washing room table

The washing room table of the PCR laboratory is usually composed of 5 parts: washing table, drip rack, faucet, sink, and drain hose, and the materials are all acid and alkali resistant PP materials.

Basic configuration 9: Biological safety cabinet

In order to prevent the spread of harmful aerosols in the PCR laboratory, at least one biological safety cabinet must be equipped, which can also be used for the main isolation equipment. The biological safety cabinet has a front door that protects operators through vertical airflow, protects samples through multilayer HEPA filtration, and filters exhaust gases to protect the environment. As for the choice of biological safety cabinets, it depends on the level of protection provided by personnel, environment, and test product samples.

Basic configuration 10: Eyewash and sensor faucet

Because PCR experiments have certain dangers, such as affecting the eyes of operators, an eyewash should be installed on the washing table so that the eyes can be washed in time. In addition, the sensor faucet is also indispensable, it can sense the body heat, automatically release water and delay shut down.

Basic configuration 11: human body pyro-infrared sensor

A human body pyro-infrared sensor is installed at the door of the buffer room of the PCR laboratory, which can sense human body heat, automatically turn on the fan to send out clean air, and automatically turn off after a delay, so as to facilitate use and save power.

Basic configuration 12: sample car

The sample car can be configured in the washing room of the PCR laboratory, which can facilitate the operator to move samples and other experimental supplies. It usually adopts a stainless steel structure with two upper and lower layers, which is flexible and compact.

Basic configuration 13: utensil cart

The utensil cart is mainly used to dry the utensils after washing, and the cleaned utensils can be placed on the utensil cart. A drip rack is provided on the ware cart, and a sink for collecting water drops is also provided under the drip rack.
