Speaking of the basic configuration of PCR laboratory, including transfer window, automatic door closer, interlocking door, multi-function control instrument, differential pressure gauge, socket, laboratory bench, washing room table, biological safety cabinet, eye wash and sensor faucet, Human body pyro-infrared sensor, sample car, utensil car. Below, let me introduce the first 6 basic configurations.
First, let’s briefly introduce the PCR laboratory, which is also called the "gene amplification laboratory", which uses polymerase chain reaction, a molecular biology technology, to detect the DNA genes of the items to be inspected.
Basic configuration 1: Transfer window
In order to ensure the cleanliness of the logistics in the PCR laboratory, two transfer windows must be equipped, and the transfer windows must be equipped with ultraviolet lamps. When the items pass through the transfer windows, they can be sterilized by ultraviolet lamps. This not only effectively isolates the indoor and outdoor air, but also facilitates the control of the transfer window, reduces the number of workers entering and leaving the laboratory, and facilitates the transfer of items by the experimenters.
Basic configuration 2: Automatic door closer
The automatic door closer is installed on the relevant door of the PCR laboratory, and its equipment should be carried out in accordance with the specifications.
Basic configuration 3: Interlocking door
The PCR laboratory should be equipped with a set of interlocking doors, so that when one door is not closed, the other cannot be opened, so as to buffer the airflow entering the laboratory. Note that an emergency switch should be installed on the interlocking door to facilitate the staff to leave in the event of an accident.
Basic configuration 4: Multi-function controller
This is the main control switch of the PCR laboratory, used to adjust and display the temperature and humidity, the start-stop and start-stop sequence of the blower and exhaust fan, and the lighting switch and UV lamp control. In addition, the screen of the multi-function controller can accurately display various parameters in the laboratory for easy adjustment.
Basic configuration 5: differential pressure gauge
The PCR laboratory must be equipped with a set of differential pressure gauges. This differential pressure control system can display the amount of differential pressure between indoor and outdoor, and can manually control the differential pressure to reach a safe range.
Basic configuration 6: socket
According to the needs of the various functions in the PCR laboratory, the corresponding sockets are configured, such as single-phase nine-hole sockets and three-phase four-hole sockets. Note that all sockets adopt embedded and air-tight design, and must have dust-proof, waterproof, and leakage-proof combined power strips.
